Can anyone purchase online?

Home Ice Cream is a street vended service, which means our vans have specific routes and areas that they are able to vend to each fortnight. We are always looking to expand into new areas, and looking for new Franchisees and Company Drivers to do the job!

To find out if Home Ice Cream delivers to your street or suburb, visit our Delivery page to check your address.

You can also find your nearest driver and give them a call, or call our National Office and we can tell you if we vend to your area, and when we will be in your street.

If your address is located in any of our vending areas, you will be able to buy Home Ice Cream direct from our vans or online, delivered Direct to your Door every fortnight.

In areas that do not permit street vending, you may still have access to delivery via our Cool Cube delivery system. This is also the perfect option for customers who aren't home when the Home Ice Cream van is in their street, but still want to enjoy Australia's Favourite Ice Cream, delivered straight to their door!

Home Ice Cream's standard Cool Cube is a reusable foam esky that provides a simple and affordable option for online ordering. For those who wish to order our delicious ice cream when they are not home, or busy at work, our Cool Cube is capable of keeping ice cream completely frozen for up to 12 hours.

We also accept the older Plastic Cool Cube for online ordering, although they are no longer available for purchase. To order with a Cool Cube that you already own, update your account and let us know which type of Cool Cube you own, and how many.

What if I'm not home when my driver comes but I've chosen Standard Delivery?

You will need to contact your driver to arrange the re-delivery of your items. You will find their contact number on your invoice.

Otherwise your order will automatically default to the following fortnight's delivery, so we suggest you make sure you're home!

Is there a limit to the amount of product I can purchase online?

No, there is no limit to how much delicious ice cream you can buy! If you will be home to receive your order, you are only limited by how much your driver can fit on his truck!

For Cool Cube deliveries, you are limited by the amount of product that can fit in your Cool Cube. Don't worry though, you can add extra Cool Cubes to your order, to store your ice cream for up to 12 hours while you're at work!

What's the latest I can order online?

There is a 4pm daily cut off for online orders for the following day's delivery, so be sure to place your order in time so you don't miss out!

What's the time frame for delivery?

Home Ice Cream vans vend from roughly 11am to 7pm daily in most areas. For an estimate of your delivery window, visit our Delivery page to check your address.

About the Home Ice Cream Cool Cube

Home Ice Cream's standard Cool Cube is a foam esky. We also accept the older Plastic Cool Cube for online ordering, although they are no longer available for purchase. To order with a Cool Cube that you already own, update your account and let us know which type of Cool Cube you own, and how many.

Home Ice Cream has its own unique “deep chill” freezer bricks for the Cool Cube, capable of keeping ice cream completely frozen for up to 12 hours.

This is the perfect delivery option for those who wish to order our delicious ice cream when they are not home, or busy at work. We deliver from 11am daily, so you can be sure that your ice cream will still be frozen when you get home!

Our Cool Cube system is a simple and affordable option for ordering online. Once you have purchased the Cool Cube itself, at minimal cost, it is reusable for any future online orders.

All you have to do is leave it in your designated "safe spot" with your thawed deep chill bricks inside for replacement when you place your next ice cream order. Make sure you leave your thawed bricks with your Cool Cube when expecting a delivery - if the bricks are not exchanged with each delivery, there will be a small fee associated with replacement bricks.

I don't have the option of ordering online without a Cool Cube

This means you are in an area that Home Ice Cream cannot vend to, due to council regulations.

If you are in a Cool Cube only service area, you are still able to order Home Ice Cream products online, but only using our Cool Cube system.

How do I find out if Home Ice Cream is delivered in my street?

To find out if Home Ice Cream delivers to your street or suburb, visit our Delivery page to check your address.

You can also find your local driver and give them a call, or call our National Office and we can tell you if we vend to your area, and when we will be in your street.

If we don't deliver to your area, send us an email and tell us which suburb and postcode is missing out, so we can work on delivering Australia's Favourite Ice Cream to you.

Is Cool Cube Delivery available in Unit Complexes or Gated Communities?

Delivery to unit complexes and gated communities are available at the sole discretion of the driver.  If you live in a multi-level unit dwelling or high rise complex, delivery may not always be achievable, in which case a full refund will be given and you will be notified within 72 hours.

If in doubt, please contact us to ensure a smooth delivery.

What is the storage capacity of the Cool Cube?

The Cool Cube system uses a volume rating for each of the different sized boxes that Home Ice Cream sell, and each is given a unit value.

When you select what products you wish to purchase, the system will show you your Cool Cube status, and inform you when you have overloaded your Cool Cube. You can either opt to fill an additional Cool Cube for just $9.90, or edit your cart until you have the correct amount of items to fit your Cool Cube's capacity.

Once your Cool Cube's capacity is within the required limit, you can click the "Checkout" button and proceed to the secure payments page to complete your order.

We still accept the old Plastic Cool Cube, however the new Foam Cool Cube has a larger capacity. The system will automatically calculate your capacity based on which Cool Cubes you have added to your account.

I have moved... Can I still buy Home Ice Cream online?

To create an account with Home Ice Cream, your previous address had to be confirmed for our fortnightly delivery service being offered in your street.

If you move to a different location, delivery may not be achievable, either if Home Ice Cream does not vend to that area, or if Cool Cube delivery is not yet available in that area.

Can I re-freeze my "deep chill" bricks to use them again?

Once our "deep chill" freezer bricks have thawed after 12 hours, they need to be re-frozen in Home Ice Cream's deep chill freezer rooms in order to get cold enough to freeze your ice cream. This is why you are asked to exchange your bricks with your next delivery from your driver.  Household freezers or deep freezers will not freeze your bricks cold enough to hold your ice cream frozen.

Make sure you leave your thawed bricks with your Cool Cube when expecting a delivery - if the bricks are not exchanged with each delivery, there will be a small fee associated with replacement bricks.
